Policies

Virtual Training Participation

  • This training will be conducted online. Students agree to fully participate in the virtual training as they would in an in-person setting. Attendance for the full duration of the training is mandatory.

  • Students unable to attend due to legitimate emergencies must notify Nora to coordinate alternative learning options, which may incur additional costs. Full attendance ensures group coherence and meets certification requirements.

  • Training dates will be provided for each session, and attendance at all parts of the training is required for certification.

Training Materials

  • Students will receive an electronic copy of the training manual for each part of the course, including instructional material and scripts.

  • Students must print the scripts section before the training begins.

Training Schedule

  • Each day includes morning instruction and discussion, a live skill-building demonstration, a lunch break, and afternoon practice sessions. The schedule runs from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST, with the final day typically ending earlier (not guaranteed).

  • Punctuality is essential to maintain the group’s momentum. Students should inform the trainers of any emergencies that prevent full participation. Additional learning sessions due to missed time may incur extra costs.

Personal Development

  • This training includes both professional instruction and personal development experiences. Emotional triggers and healing opportunities may arise during the program. Students are encouraged to remain open to self-reflection and introspection. Support will be provided for any processing needed.

Communication

  • If students have concerns or questions, they should contact the trainers directly and promptly. Confidentiality will be maintained unless otherwise agreed upon.

Tuition Payment

  • The rate for Part 1 of the training applies to Part 2 as well. Payment for Part 1 secures your space in both parts of the training.

Refund Policy

  • Once training begins on Day 1, no refunds will be issued for students who choose not to complete the course.

Certification Requirements

  • Students must complete required reading, case studies, a multiple-choice test, and an ethics video course to qualify for certification. Trainers reserve the right to withhold certification if additional practice or improvement is deemed necessary.

Recordings

  • Training sessions may be recorded for instructional purposes. Recordings will only be used with the student’s written permission for future training or promotional materials.

Confidentiality

  • Practice sessions are confidential unless a safety concern arises that requires appropriate professional intervention.
